Seminars and Public Lectures

We organise events and seminars to bring our latest research in an accessible manner to the wider public.

One of the exciting events is our annual BIblical Studies Seminar based on a particular theme. The purpose of this seminar is to examine contemporary issues from a biblical and interdisciplinary perspectives.

Our 5th annual Biblical Studies Seminar based on the theme of "Bible and Ethnicity" will be held on 10 March 2018. Please click here for further information.

Biblical Studies Room

We have established a Biblical Studies Room that houses the permanent display of maps, photos, and posters related to the geography of biblical lands including Israel, Turkey, and Greece. In addition, the room also houses exhibition of facsimiles of various biblical manuscripts, The purpose for this room is to enhance our teaching of biblical subjects, and this is the reason why most of our classes in Old Testament and New Testament are being held in this room.

Click here for more information and images of our Biblical Studies Room.

Acquisition of Archaeological Replicas

Our acquisition of archaeological replicas related to biblical times is our most recent endeavour. The purpose of the collection of replicas is to facilitate deeper understanding of the cultural world of the Bible that aids biblical interpretation.

More information will be added soon.

Study Tours to Biblical Sites

Over the years, we have build up a good reputation of organising study tours to biblical sites covering Israel, Greece, Turkey, and Egypt.  Our tours are open for all Christians, and are usually offered as electives for our students.

Resources

We have also developed instruction videos that highlight some of our research, teachings, and other helpful ideas and insights that bring the Bible to life. In addition, we also offer guided tours of our “treasures” to help church groups appreciate the history and cultural world of the Bible.
